This years limited edition Ampal x LUFTGEKüHLT 9 hat is inspired by one of the most iconic G-model 911s, the 1974 IROC racing series RSR. With only 15 built specifically for the US race series in beautiful period Porsche colors, it's easy to see why Seinfeld, Roger Penske & Pablo Escobar have prized them over the years.
We worked with Patrick from Luftgekuhlt to create a hat that looks like it would have been part of the driver's trackside livery kit. It wasn't easy, but we choose the Chassis 0059 #4 acid blau "Acid Blue" color way in the spirit of the early IROC period of racing.
